Your best

Every round now has a number to beat: your own best. The browser keeps your brightest finish on this device. No account, and nothing is sent anywhere.

During a round, the line under the clock reads like "You · 3rd · 12 · best 24". Pass it and the end of that line turns gold and reads "New best", with two soft rising notes, once a round. When the clock hits zero, the end plate adds a small line: "Your best 24", or "New best 31" in gold when you just beat it. Your first round on a device just sets it.

The round is the same one: seventy-five seconds, up to eight worms, and the brightest light at the end.
